maybelline lash sensational curvitude

so i have been using mascara since i was about 15.

every day.

i have tried a gazillion different ones, only to be disappointed. i have never found THE perfect mascara. until now. this stuff is so amazing it made my kinda wimpy, very straight lashes look awesome.

i love that it looks the same at night as it did when i applied in the morning. that's my main complaint with previous mascaras. it would be all flaked off or even worse, raccoon eyes by evening. the brush is a little funky to get used to in the beginning, but for some strange reason, it curls my lashes! immediately! throw away those awkward eyelash curlers.. you won't need them.

and the price... that's the best thing. i got perfect lashes for less than $7.00!!! bravo, maybelline... don't ever change this... if you click on the image, it will take you to amazon so you can experience it yourself.

hi and welcome!

hi everybody!  my name is sandi rusch.  i honestly never thought about blogging product reviews, but when i posted on facebook about a terrific face wash i was using that didn't break the bank, it got a lot of positive feedback, and a suggestion to blog.

my concept is to introduce you to products, both cosmetic and general merchandise, that i would love to own but can't afford and found comparable items at drugstore/grocery store prices.  at age 61 my skin care, make up, shampoo, body lotions and a host of other things are changing for me.  this blog will be a follow along of my journey to look good, feel good, find household items to help me, all while trying to keep within a strict budget.

the original product that made me post a review on facebook was a face wash.  i've been using Rodan & Fields Unblemish skin care for many years.  at 61 i am unfortunately still cursed by zits.

wrinkles and zits at the same time.  yay me.

i was very happy with what i was using, but finances changed over the past couple of years and i couldn't justify it when we were trying to save money on everything else.  that started my obsession with the cosmetic aisle at shop-rite, my favorite grocery store.  i had a couple of fails and i'm still searching for the perfect product, but the one i'm using at the moment is promising.  i need to give it another week at least before giving it a nekkid banana dance.

nekkid banana dances are, by the way, the way i'll rate items.  :-)

i hope you'll follow the blog and enjoy some fun and informative ideas for saving some cents on products i hope you'll enjoy!

i'll be including photos and links, and sometimes a video depending on what the product is.  nobody, and i mean NOBODY wants to see me try to put on mascara.

thanks for joining me!
